I remember having this as a child smothered over toast in the morning. However, that was packed full of sugar so I wanted it without that sugar to keep my keto lifestyle not being blown out of the water. This is the perfect keto breakfast condiment in the morning.
It is really simple to make this Keto Nutella Recipe but you will need a blender of some sort. Also, the sharper the blades on your blender the smoother the Nutella will be.
The blades on my blender are not the sharpest so my Nutella is was not all that smooth. However, that is not to say it wasn’t a delight as it was lovely.
I always try my recipes on my family who are not keto to see their thoughts. It went down a storm and everyone had it spread on toast the day I made it and was asking for it the next day.
Keto Nutella Recipe
- 1 Blender
- 400 g Hazelnuts
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 50 g Cocoa Powder
- 4 tbsp Powdered Erythritol
- Add hazelnuts onto a baking sheet toast in oven at 150°C for 10 minutes
- Lay hot hazelnuts onto towel and rub vigorously to remove skins
- Add nuts to food processor and blitz
- Add oil and blitz to a smooth paste
- dd cocoa powder, powdered erythritol and blitz some more to combine
