Is there anything better than waking up on a cold morning and serving up a plate full of keto french toast covered in keto maple syrup?

Keto French Toast

French toast is a family favorite in our house severed with some berries on the side.

If you have a real love affair with ground cinnamon then you can add an extra teaspoon. I enjoy cinnamon and like a real strong cinnamon flavor so will bump it into the mix when I’m the only one eating it.

When it comes to frying your keto french toast try to resit from moving it around the pan too much. You want to try and add it to the pan and leave it there till your desired crispness.

In my house we always want the french toast to be left in the pan-frying a little longer than most. Our preference is always to have it nice and crispy.

This is a super easy recipe to follow and using the microwave to make a type of mug bread makes things so much easier for the perfect keto breakfast.

No one wants to wake up in the morning especially with kids and start to crank out an army of pans. While there are a few involved in the process with this recipe. There is nothing overboard and for the few, there is it is well worth it.

Keto French Toast Recipe

A perfect Sunday morning breakfast crispy French toast covered in Keto friendly maple syrup and a side of strawberries.

Bread Mix

  • 2 tbsp Almond Flour
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Whipping Cream

Batter Mix

  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Whipping Cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon


Bread Mix

  • Mix all the bread mix dry ingredients and mix
    2 tbsp Almond Flour, 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder, Pinch of salt, 2 tbsp Coconut Flour
  • Add wet ingredients to bread mix and mix till no more lumps
    2 Eggs, 2 tbsp Whipping Cream
  • Microwave for 2 minutes and cut into shape and allow to cool

Batter Mix

  • Add all batter mix ingredients to a bowl and mix well
    2 tbsp Whipping Cream, 1 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon, 2 Eggs
  • Add the bread to the batter mix and allow bread to soak as much as the batter as possible

Making the French Toast

  • Add 2 tbsp of butter to a pan allow to melt and coat the whole pan
  • Fry your French toast on both sides till nice and crispy



You should get two servings and each serving will come out at 4g of net carbs
